Located under the giant Oaks in the "Shangri-La Village"...once the sun goes down, the lights will go up...good luck keeping score! ![]() ![]() ![]() - GLODEO! - After a crazy tour up and down the East Coast, Puff T. Magic-Dragon, Dr. Molly and Sid Glo have returned home for their favorite festival of all. Yeah, they thought All Good was all good, and GOTV gathered some good (albeit hot) vibes...but they've all agreed, Pink Moon is where it's at. They'll be lighting it up and breaking it down from sunset to sunrise every night for you giant-glowing-dragon-chasing pleasure.
- Featured artist Andy Reed - Andy will be painting live on Friday during Donna Jean Godchaux's set and during Particle's set on Saturday. Keep an eye out for his booth in the Shangri-La Village!
- Featured artist Jonathon Blake - aka Crazyredbeard will be live painting all weekend! Keep an eye out for him during Donna Jean's set on Friday night as well as Saturday during Particle's set and be sure to check out his booth in the Shangri-La Village!
- Featured artist Jillian DiMarco - Born in Richmond, Virginia, studied art at Old Dominion University and currently attending Virginia Commonwealth University, Jillian DiMarco uses dots, drops, connections and lines. Color, splatters, geographic forms and patterns. Through experimentation with water and acrylic paints she attempts to create soothing and exciting works of art that are pleasing to her eye. Painting is a means of meditation for her while she creates peace of mind on a piece of paper. Her spontaneous ideas morph into fulfilling and satisfying physical two dimensional forms with organic motions. In creating her art she strives to evolve her work as well as herself.
- Costume Party Saturday! - Be sure to bring your best costume to Pink Moon this year as Saturday night we will be having a costume contest. Best costume wins a T-shirt and poster from this years Pink Moon Festival as well as tickets to next years event!
- Body Painting For Charity! - We will have a Body Painting Booth set up in the "Shangri-La Village"...come bare it all (or just show just a little skin) for our artists and become a [completely washable] human canvas. Suggested donation: $5 to be donated to the Music and Arts
Departments of Monroe County Middle Schools. - Rock Piling Competition - Make your mark on Pinky's Farm...create your own rock piles throughout the weekend. Be creative with sizing, placement, shape and color! This IS Rock Camp, you'll have no trouble gathering materials. Rock piles will be judged Saturday afternoon. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be chosen, with prizes left at the winning rock piles Sunday morning. Honor system rules apply. |
